1. MAINTAIN A HEALTHY WEIGHT

Exercising is also important for your breast health. It would help you maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of cancer, as obesity has been linked to an increased risk of cancer.

Simple exercises like walking and jogging can have a good effect on your breast health, as such exercises lower cortisol and blood sugar, leading to improved hormone responses.

3. EAT LOTS OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

Fruits and vegetables are packed with nutrients and antioxidants that help boost immunity. Several researches have shown that fruits and vegetables reduce the risk of breast cancer and breast tumour.

4. EAT FOODS RICH IN FOLATE

Breast cancer is a risk for the today’s woman, and a lack of folate has been researched to have a link with damaged DNA which could in turn increase the risk of cancer.

Foods such as spinach, green vegetables, dried beans and peas, okra and asparagus are rich in folate.

5. POOR POSTURE

9. LIMIT YOUR USE OF BRA

Try to go braless when you are home. According to research, women who wore their bras 24 hours a day had a 3 out of 4 chance of developing breast cancer. Women who wore bras more than 12 hours a day but not to bed, has a 1 out of 7 risk of developing breast cancer. Women who wore their bras less than 12 hours a day had a 1 out of 52 risk, and women who rarely wore bras had a 1 out of 152 chance of getting breast cancer.

10. Limit your alcohol intake.

Your breasts should be a prized asset; take care of it.
