He was convicted of felony assault in April and faces a maximum of 10 years and four months in prison.
Speaking to the New York Daily News , India, from Los Angeles, said:
“I lifted up my head and saw all the throw-up.
“My face was laying in it on the floor. I got up and looked on the bed and there was blood everywhere. I made my way to the bathroom and saw bloody towels on the floor.”
India then feared for her life as she suspected someone might come back to kill her if they knew she had survived the assault.
After calling the police, India was transferred to hospital where she spent a week in intensive care.
Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney David Berger confirmed police were able to track Ali’s cell phone and found Baker with her stolen car at a nearby Courtyard hotel.
India plans to make a victim impact statement at Baker’s sentencing, now set for June 5.
